Pell City Hires Keith Etheredge As Head Football Coach

Monday provided big news on the high school coaching front. Pell City has filled its head coaching vacany with one of the most successful football coaches of the last decade. Keith Etheredge is leaving his post as head coach at Leeds High School to become the Panthers' next head coach.

In his ten seasons with the Green Wave, Etheredge won four state championships including last year's 55-7 win over Fayette County. He takes over a Pell City program that went 4-7 last season and just one postseason victory in the last ten years. Ethredge is expected to be formally introduced at the school's board meeting on Tuesday.
