Best-Selling Author Passes Away

Harper Lee, the elusive author who’s "To Kill a Mockingbird" became an enduring best-seller and classic film with its child's-eye view of racial injustice in a small Southern town, has died. She was 89. Ironically, students at Anniston High School were given free copies of To Kill a Mockingbird on Thursday, and according to school officials students really enjoy reading that particular classic.
