Gadsden Police Seek Information on Murder

The Gadsden Police Department is investigating the death of a man found at a vacant home. Yesterday at noon police discovered the body of 34-year-old Derrick Cherry of Gadsden at a home on Henry Street. They found Cherry unresponsive. Investigators determined that Cherry was the victim of a homicide. The cause of death is not being released at this time and no one is in custody.
