Update: Calhoun County Church Burglaries


In yet another case discussed during the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office news conference…The second person involved in the five church burglaries that took place nearly two weeks ago has been arrested. According to Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Matthew Wade, 19-year-old James Williams of Wellington, was arrested March 10 and faces multiple charges including Second Degree Marijuana Possession. Williams is currently being held on $46,000 bond in the Calhoun County Jail. His court date is scheduled on April 14. Last week authorities announced the arrest of 22-year-old Alex Michael Williams less than 24 hours after the five church burglaries took place on the early morning hours of March 3 in central Calhoun County.
