Edible Evening for Education

The Oxford City Schools Education Foundation present-“Edible Evening for Education…” Tonight was the night where local restaurants showcased their finest culinary talents at the Oxford High School Sports Arena and attendees sampled foods from all the area restaurants. Charlotte Hubbard of Hubbard’s Off Main says they served jambalaya, po-boys, and gumbo. All part of their new Cajun menu… During the evening Oxford community members ate first-rate food, socialized with one another, and made unique connections. Attendee Hayley ate Effina’s Voodoo Pasta, Barbecue, chicken salad, and Fried Oreos from Strutt’s. Oxford City Schools Education Foundation Executive Director Cindy Williams says, the event hosted more than 20 local restaurants. The organization sold more than 400 tickets. All of the proceeds benefit Oxford City Schools.
