New Season of Leadership for Local Organization
The Choccolocco Creek Watershed Alliance is without a Program Director and is now determining a new pathway for moving ahead.Co-Chairman Steven Moses says the Choccolocco Creek Watershed Alliance is comprised of individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives in differing industries. He says the alliance will continue to promote the watershed and provide outreach and educational opportunities to the community. The Choccolocco Creek Watershed encompasses approximately 246,000 acres, draining 376 square miles of land into Choccolocco Creek. It is in the Southeastern portion of the Middle Coosa River Basin and stretches through 4 different counties in Alabama including Calhoun, Talladega, Cleburne, and Clay Counties.
