JSU Wraps Spring With J-Day Game

The Jacksonville State football team wrapped up spring practice with the annual J-Day Game on Saturday. With several injuries and the loss of a big senior class, the Gamecocks held a more controlled scrimmage just like they conduct in practice. Ever since day one of the spring head coach John Grass wanted to see some guys step up and provide depth for the fall and he says the team responded well. The defending national runner-up will start summer workouts soon and return to the field in early August for the start of fall camp.
