A traffic stop for a moving violation turns into a drug bust of a DeKalb County woman. Fort Payne Police Chief Randy Bynum says Marcia Auman committed the traffic violation of illegally passing a vehicle in the Gault Avenue North area on Sunday. The officer wrote up Auman with a citation for Driving Revoked, Improper Passing, and No Insurance. As Auman’s vehicle was being inventoried before being towed, it was determined she had a substantial amount of methamphetamine in the vehicle valued at $1500. Auman was additionally charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute, First Degree Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Auman also had in her possession $1149. She was transported to the Dekalb County Jail.
