GM Recalls 1 Million Trucks
General Motors is recalling more than a million pickup trucks worldwide over a seat belt issue. The massive recall includes 2014 and 2015 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 pickup trucks. The automaker says a flexible steel cable that connects the seat belt to the truck can wear out over time and eventually snap. Most of the recalled vehicles were sold in the US, but some are in the Middle East, Latin America, and Mexico. The automaker says the repairs will be performed at no cost to owners.
