Church Kids Fund Well Project

A local church ministry’s day care is partnering with a mission organization to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water, and to experience "living water"—the gospel of Jesus Christ. Life Worship Center’s Life Kids Day Care is working with Living Water International to fund a water well building project. The project will cost $5,500 dollars and will be built in (REE-VUS) Rivas, Nicaragua in South America. LifeKids Learning Center Director Kim Knottsays that pre-schoolers from the two Life Worship Center campus pre-schools - located in Saks and in Golden Springs - will be walking around Oxford Lake on Saturday as the second phase fundraiser for the project. The children have already started taking up money for the well. Life Kids Pre-Schoolers Katie Curvin and Jacoby Pope share the theme for the fundraising campaign and tell us why they are walking around the lake. LifeKids Learning Center Director Kim Knott says safe water removes the single heaviest burden from the lives of the poorest people in our world. She says Saturday’s exercise will expose the children to some of what other communities have to do. The Life Kids Worship Center Name will appear on a marble plaque put on the newly built well.
