Former Etowah superstar and Auburn great Carnell Williams has landed a coaching gig. Williams was hired as a graduate assistant coach at Division II West Georgia on Friday. Williams began his coaching career at Henderson State last season as a part of the NFL Players Association Coaching Internship Program.
Cadillac holds Auburn records in career rush attempts (741) and rushing touchdowns (45) and is second in program history in career rushing yards (3,831). Following his days on the Plains, Williams played seven years in the NFL career rushing for 4,031 yards and 21 touchdowns for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and St. Louis Rams.
