U.S. Added 160,000 Jobs In April

April was not showered with new jobs for people looking to get hired. The Labor Department’s latest report shows US companies didn’t do much hiring last month. Only 160,000 jobs were added. That’s less than analysts expected. The April unemployment rate remained unmoved from 5%. Concern is rising that the US economy is losing momentum.  But there was one positive in the report… Wages actually went up in April, growing by 2.5%. That’s still below the typical wage of a healthy US economy, but higher than in March.
