The conclusion of a fifteen month methamphetamine trafficking and distribution investigation ends in the arrest of seven men for their alleged involvement in an organized meth ring in Etowah County. According to Sheriff Todd Entrekin, the following individuals have been arrested during the last three months: Harold Deal, Jr. of Attalla, Billy Deal, Jr. of Gadsden, Thomas Ramey of Attalla, Richard Edmondson, II of Gadsden, Nathan McMahan, of Gadsden, Roy Farlow, Jr. of Attalla, and Jeffery Frohock, of Southside. Authorities say the drugs were being picked up in the Atlanta metro area and brought into Etowah County where they were distributed and sold. Some of the drugs were also distributed in surrounding counties. The FBI’s safe street task force assisted with the arrests.
