Salvation Army Raises Money for Camp

Tuesday, May 24, 2016

The Salvation Army in Anniston is raising money to provide camping experiences for underprivileged children and youth. The non-profit wants to send more than 33 area kids to two weeks’ worth of the Salvation Army's summer camps in Lexington, Mississippi. Each summer, hundreds of children and youth descend upon a sports camp week and a community camp week for life changing camp experiences. Salvation Army Corps Officer Eric Roberts says they need the community to help. If you would like to send a child to camp or provide funds toward the operation of the camp, please send a check to the Salvation Army PO Box 218 Anniston Alabama 36201.
