Millenials Have More Parents As Roommates

Thursday, May 26, 2016

According to the Pew Research Center, a young adult living in their parents’ basement is the new normal. A recent study shows that Americans between the ages of 18 and 34 are more likely to live with a parent than a partner or spouse. That’s for the first time in the last 130 years. The center says more than 32% of millennial adults lived with a parent in 2014. The study says there’s been an overall decline in romantic coupling, which led to more adults staying at home with mom and dad.
