Truck Sought in Hit-and-Run Case

Gadsden Police release photo images of the suspect involved in a hit and run that took place on Wednesday night. 60-year-old Alonza Scott and his dog were struck by a truck, sending Scott to a Birmingham hospital and killing his dog. Gadsden police say they are still searching for the driver of this truck which struck Scott who was crossing Broad Street in the 700 block near Daugette Towers. Investigators say Scott was airlifted to a Birmingham hospital with severe injuries. The vehicle is a silver colored Ford F-150. The vehicle should have front end damage. There are no descriptions available on the occupants at this time. Anyone who may have information is urged to contact the Gadsden Police Department.
