A surveillance video of a burglary viewed on social media more than 13,000 times helps Southside police catch two people suspected of a string of burglaries and thefts. According to Deputy Chief Philip Roberson, Jamie Gartman and Jeremy Cook, both of Gadsden, are charged with third degree burglary and three counts of third degree theft. The two were taken into custody at the Gadsden Motor Inn Suites. Roberson said the two admitted to involvement in a burglary on June 10th on Stevens Drive. Roberson says he’d like to thank the Gadsden Police Department and Southside Police Department Sergeant Jay Freeman for all of their help.
