Four Arrested on Drug Charges in Gadsden

An Investigation into reported drug sales at a home on Elm Avenue in East Gadsden nets authorities 40 grams of meth, five handguns, scales, and glass pipes. Authorities arrested four people on drug related charges in Etowah County. Jeffrey Jester, Rebecca Kinney and Angela Brewer all of Gadsden, have been charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Benny Rowell of Gadsden has been charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. All four suspects are being held in the Etowah County Detention Center.
