An Oxford burglary suspect is on the run. It all began when a neighbor saw a group of people breaking into a home on Sue Drive. Oxford officers tried to stop the suspects on Alabama Highway 21 South. They eventually pulled over at the intersections of Barry Street and Spring Branch Road where three suspects got out and ran. Officers caught two suspects: Antoin McCluney of Anniston and Aton Johnson of Jacksonville. McCluney and Johnson are both charged with attempting to elude a police officer and Third Degree Burglary. They both have a bond of $75,000 cash on the burglary charge and $6,000 cash on the attempting to elude a police officer charge. Police are still searching for the third suspect.
