Heflin Police Need Your Help Identifying Suspect

Heflin police need your help in identifying a man who they say robbed a service station. According to Police Chief A-J Benefield the man entered the Shell service station on Saturday at exit 199 off I-20. He put the clerk on the floor at gunpoint and fled with an undisclosed amount of money. Heflin police have released images of the man. The two images show a man who a witness said was covered in sawdust. Benefield says the robber fled the station driving west in a white Chevrolet Tahoe. Anyone who sees someone fitting the description, or who has information, is asked to call the Heflin police at 256.463.2291.
