A Bessemer man accused of robbing an Oxford pharmacy in October is sentenced to life in prison. According to Assistant District Attorney Sheila Fields, Corey Curry assisted Marco Acoff in the armed robbery of Oxford Quick Meds Express Pharmacy. She says he pleaded guilty on Monday before his trial began. Curry pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery and first degree pharmacy robbery. According to reports, Curry and Acoff, also of Bessemer, robbed the pharmacy of cash and personal items from the employees and prescription medications.
