Gadsden - Etowah Business Expo

Wednesday, August 17, 2016

An expo that places you in the right place at the right time to build new business relationships is back and bigger than ever. Today, "The Ultimate Business Gamechanger" - the third annual Gadsden-Etowah Business Expo - was held at Gadsden Convention Hall. The Chamber Gadsden-Etowah County President Heather Brothers New says the Expo is the perfect opportunity to make connections and develop your business network with like-minded professionals. She says that Expo attendees gained valuable information. They were exposed to both new and seasoned business owners and entrepreneurs; they found new business contacts, networked with new vendors and built long-lasting business relationships. Entrance to the Expo was free to chamber members and $5 for the general public. Attendees were given a gamebook to take around to all of the vendors. The vendors had special stickers for the books and once those books were full of stickers the participants were entered into a contest to win prizes. New says today’s expo was primarily a business to business expo. She added that the Chamber’s expo was inspired by the Calhoun County business expo. 83 vendors participated with more than one-thousand people attending.
