Couple Arrested Because of Stolen ATV

 A man and a woman try to outrun Cherokee County deputies on a stolen ATV. According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Darrell Firestone of Ragland and Coley Reaves of Gadsden were arrested and charged with second degree receiving stolen property and attempting to elude. Cherokee County deputies responded to a call about Ragland and Reaves on an all-terrain vehicle. When the officers attempted to speak to the couple, they started the ATV and attempted to get away but were stopped. The ATV was discovered to be stolen from Hokes Bluff. Both were taken into custody and transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
