Hit and Run Suspect Still Sought in Gadsden

Gadsden Police have released surveillance pictures that may help in identifying and locating the person who struck and killed a Gadsden woman. These pictures are of a black or dark colored Jeep Cherokee 2000 model with passenger side and front end damage. Police believe the Jeep's passenger side mirror may be missing, and it could also have a damaged windshield. The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound on Meighan Boulevard. Investigators say someone found 55-year-old Lisa Hicks’ body last Wednesday while walking near the intersection of Halsey Street and Ewing Avenue. Police believe she was killed Tuesday evening. Anyone with information is asked to call the Gadsden Police Department.
