JSU Football Enters Game Week

Tuesday, August 30, 2016

It is officially game week at Jacksonville State. In less than 72 hours the Gamecocks will begin a march in Jacksonville that hopefully ends in Frisco, Texas.

JSU’s Thursday night game against North Alabama presents a unique change in their game week preparations. Unlike a Saturday kickoff, the team will treat the days leading up to it differently. The players say it a fun and interesting challenge.

Thursday’s game also begins a renewed mission for this club. After losing in the FCS National Championship Game in January, the team says they have worked hard in the offseason to get back to Frisco, but they understand they cannot look too far down the road.

Season Opener: North Alabama at Jacksonville State, Thursday 6:00 pm, Burgess-Snow Field (JSU Stadium) on TV24.
