Cleburne County Probate Clerk is Sentenced

A Cleburne County Probate Chief clerk is sentenced to the state’s pretrial diversion program. April Brown was charged in November 2015 with forgery. She was sentenced to 12 months of probation and must pay a $175 bond fee and a $1,000 program fee in exchange for pleading guilty to the felony. Brown is eligible for the diversion program because it is her first felony offense. If she successfully completes the probation and pays the fees her case will be dismissed.
