DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Receives NRA Grant

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office receives grant money from The NRA Foundation. Sheriff Jimmy Harris says The NRA foundation awarded the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office a grant for more than $3200 to help fund the backup weapons for the deputies that were bought last year. Friends of NRA is a grassroots fund-raising program that fosters community involvement to organize and, with help from NRA field staff, plan community events for firearms enthusiasts. Sheriff Harris says they are pleased that the NRA is making an investment in their community.
