The American Association of Pediatrics has updated its annual flu season guidelines…And that means some bad news for those who don’t like shots. Flumist is off the table this year, so the flu shot is the only option. The organization says that veryone 6 months old or older should be inoculated by October. The recommendation against using Flumist was made over the summer. For now, the recommendation is only an interim decision and could be reversed next year, when the panel reconsiders additional data.
