Libby Liberty brings in a Super Citizen Kickoff event. She presented an educational presentation to Etowah County youth; bringing history to life through dialogue, music and multimedia. Libby Liberty introduced more than fifteen-hundred elementary students from 11 Etowah County Schools to the 10-week Super Citizen Program they’ll begin when Liberty Learning Foundation’s big, blue, tour bus rolls away. Kelli Dodd, who plays Libby Liberty says the children are the future of our country and she feels it is necessary to emphasize liberty’s legacy. The event took place at Southside High School Auditorium.  Every week the students will learn a lesson about American government and freedom.  They will also have the opportunity to nominate and honor American heroes and Super Citizens from their very own communities. There will be a graduation celebration in December for all of the participants.
