Calhoun County Clown Threats

Authorities across the country, including right here in East Alabama are investigating threats made by people posing as "Clowns." Calhoun County Chief Deputy Matthew Wade says investigators have arrested a teenager for making a terroristic threat, which is a felony. Wade says the 16-year-old from Pleasant Valley posing as "Billy the Klown" threatened to shoot up Saks Middle School. Wade stresses the importance of taking all threats seriously. Wade says Saks High School officials also reported getting threats involving clowns. And According to Superintendent Darren Douthitt, Anniston Middle School was on soft lock down for a short time today after threats from clowns.
