Two Arrested on Trafficking Charges

A suspected drug dealer leads local authorities on a chase across multiple counties. Richard Gomez, Jr. and Andres Bravo are charged with trafficking in methamphetamine. Agents arrested Gomez after an undercover buy in Attalla. They say Bravo had arrived at the scene in a separate car to watch for law enforcement. When agents approached Bravo, he drove away, leading them on a chase through Etowah County, Blount County and into Marshall County. The chase ended in Snead where Bravo was taken into custody. Gomez and Bravo are being held in the Etowah County Detention Center. Bravo is charged with attempting to elude and resisting arrest. His bond is set at $52,000 cash. Gomez's bond is set at $50,000 cash.
