Ohatchee High School students participate in a nationwide meeting that came about because of a small group of teenagers from Burleson, Texas. See You at the Pole is a movement calling together students to pray simultaneously at their school flagpoles. Today’s participants say this event brings students to Christ and changes lives. Seniors Cameron Ray and Jordyn Mollock say it is great for the school and it is a big opportunity to share a national day of student prayer. The movement began on a weekend in early 1990. Now, more than 3-million students from all over the world participate in See You at the Pole. Students in more than 20 countries take part.

Around two dozen students at Jacksonville high School also gathered to pray this morning. The student pastor at First Baptist Church Jacksonville – Robbie Jenkins - joined the group for this year’s See You at the Pole event. Jenkins says he’s pleased to see that there were more students this year than last year.
