Walk to End Alzheimer’s

More than 500 students and faculty took a "mini-walk" this morning for Alzheimer's. The event was held at Saks High School. The school has teamed up with the Memory Care Unit at Legacy Village of Jacksonville who has a team in the upcoming Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Saks Elementary Principal, Amber Ray, says the walk is a great way for young people to learn about the devastating disease. The East Central Alabama Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held at Michael Tucker Park in Anniston tomorrow. Registration begins at 8 o’clock and the walk will start at 9.
