JSU Quarterback Arrested for Domestic Violence

Jacksonville State University officers respond to a call of domestic violence on campus and it leads them to the arrest of JSU’s starting quarterback. 21-year-old Eli Jenkins was arrested around 1AM this morning and held in the Jacksonville City jail.  According to JSU Police Jenkins is charged with third-degree domestic violence, a Class A misdemeanor offense. The arrest took place at Jax Apartments on Cole Drive. Authorities say no one involved needed medical attention. According to State Law, Jenkins must be held for 24 hours. After that, he can bond out.
