Local Fire Danger Warning

Thursday, October 6, 2016

Several counties in our viewing area are under a fire danger warning from the Alabama Forestry Commission. The commission issued the warning to 46 counties due to the danger of wildfires from dry weather and low humidity. The local counties affected are: Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, St. Clair, and Talladega. |Although the state is not under any type of burn ban, the forestry commission is urging those of you in these counties to delay any outdoor burning until drought conditions improve.
