Alabama Power Crews Return From Georgia
Alabama Power crews have returned from working in Savannah, Georgia after Hurricane Matthew left widespread power outages and damage. Nearly 800 Alabama Power employees and contract workers helped Georgia Power on Wilmington and Tybee Islands near Savannah. While crews admit the cleanup challenged them, people who live and work in the area seemed thankful for the hard work. People greeted crews in the neighborhoods and even made "thank you" signs and later sent handmade cards to Alabama Power linemen.
