The Calhoun County School Board has voted to renew Superintendent Joe Dyar's contract. Board members approved the renewal during tonight's meeting by a vote of 4 to 3. After hearing the results, Dyar thanked those who voted in favor of the renewal and said he looked forward to continuing his work with the system. Dyar was first appointed as superintendent in November 2010. At that time, he was the Principal of White Plains Middle School.
