Transgender School Policies

Two months after granting a motion by Alabama and 12 other states for a nationwide preliminary injunction of the Obama administration’s transgender school restroom access, a Texas federal judge has reaffirmed his ruling preventing implementation of the order in school districts. The Texas ruling keeps in place a nationwide stay of the controversial order despite recent Obama administration attempts to limit the 13 states that took part while still being able to force the new restroom access policy on local school boards. As a result of the reaffirmed ruling, school administrators, parents and students will remain shielded from what has been called the Obama administration’s unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
