No Tricks, Just Treats Week


If you’re looking for some family-friendly activities for Halloween, you’re in luck. The city of Jacksonville’s Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its 8th annual “No Tricks, Just Treats Week”. Parks and Recreation Superintendent, Janis Burns says the events are fun every year. Tuesday will be the flashlight candy hunt and festival. The fun will begin at 5:30 and last until 8. For children 12 and younger cost is $5, adults get in free. Thursday, will be “Spooktacular” family movie night. The movie begins at 6 and concessions will be available. All events will be held at the Jacksonville Community Center. Kids are encouraged to dress up, bring a bag and everyone is welcome.
