Huntsville physician Pleads Guilty

Once the highest Medicare prescriber physician now pleads guilty. Shelinder Aggarwal of Huntsville reached a plea agreement with the government. Aggarwal will forfeit his former clinic along with 6.7-million-dollars as well as a 15-year prison sentence. He is being charged with distributing a controlled substance outside the scope of professional practice and conspiring to execute a healthcare fraud scheme against Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Aggarwal’s sentencing date has not been set.
