Jacksonville Water Conservation Plan

The drought affecting all Alabama counties is forcing Jacksonville city leaders to look for ways to conserve water. Jacksonville leaders have released a plan asking people to voluntarily follow some water conservation guidelines:  Residents in northeast and southwest parts of the city are asked to limit non-household use of water to Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. and residents in the northwest and southeast parts of the city are asked to limit non-household use of water to Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m.
