One Arrested On Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

A Heflin Police Officer makes a stop for a vehicle for a traffic violation and ends up with a big arrest. The driver of the offending vehicle seemed to be nervous and smelled of marijuana. The driver denied consent to search, so the officer deployed is K9 partner Jedi. The driver then attempted to get back in the vehicle and began fighting with officers. The K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics, and the officers located 12 ounces of Marijuana and more than 500 tablets of Ecstasy. The driver was arrested and transported to jail.
