The Justice and Civil Rights Initiative board has announced major structure changes. JCRI is a non-profit organization, based in Anniston. The group aims to help in the progression of civil, social and cultural understanding for all people. The board has decided to begin offering certain services at a discounted rate beginning the first of December. The organization will also implement a new volunteer program called, “JCRI Ambassadors.” Members will serve as official representatives and promoters of the organization to be seen at public functions. JCRI, founder and president, Ed Moore III says they have also created a new company award. This year, the JCRI award will go to, Heflin Police Officer, Jackie Stovall and will be presented on December 15th. For more information about JCRI visit their website.
