A sorority is bringing potential solutions to a local, national and global issue. Phi Theta Kappa is bringing awareness to human trafficking with their Honors in Action Project. An officer in the sorority does research on a topic that not only affects the nation but is a local issue as well. Phi Theta Kappa member Katie Bohannon spoke to the Gadsden Kiwanis Club today about the issue of human trafficking. Bohannon also says that if you see something suspicious, report it. For more information on human trafficking you can call the National Human Trafficking Resource Center at 1.888.373.7888 or visit the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime website.
