Suspect Arrested in Glencoe Double Murder

Etowah County investigators believe a verbal argument is what led to a double homicide in Glencoe. 43-year-old Jeremy Jerry of Gadsden is charged with 2 counts of capital murder. He’s being held in the Etowah County Detention Center without bond. Jerry is accused of shooting and killing his mother, 65-year-old Joyce Brown Good, and her boyfriend, 62-year-old Jimmie Lively. The double homicide occurred shortly after noon Wednesday at a home on Aderholt Street. According to investigators, Jerry confessed to his involvement in the murders. Security cameras at the home captured some key evidence in the crime and investigators say that it all started with an argument.
