Explosion Victim's Name is Released

Authorities have released the name of the worker killed when a gasoline pipeline serving the Southeast exploded, sparking a fire. Shelby County’s deputy coroner identified the man who died as Anthony Lee Willingham of Heflin. When the explosion happened Monday, Willingham was working to repair the pipeline following a previous gas spill. One of Willingham’s daughters says her father worked for L.E. Bell Construction in Heflin. Colonial Pipeline says a piece of excavation equipment hit the pipeline. The incident injured four other workers. At last check, the fire continued to burn.
