The City of Anniston takes a day to look back and thank those who fought for our freedom. The day started as the City held its 26th annual Veterans Day Ceremony. During the ceremony, local men and women who served our country in uniform were honored. Among those in attendance was new Anniston Mayor, Jack Draper. The ceremony was held at the Centennial Memorial Park, which lists the name of every Alabamian who was killed during World War I and II, the Korean War, Vietnam War and the Persian Gulf War.
