Three Arrested After Weekend Murder

Tuesday, November 15, 2016

Sheriff’s office investigators believe a fight between two suspected prostitutes led to the death of a man in Calhoun County over the weekend. Meghan Jones, Deanthony Miller and Albert Edison have been arrested and charged with murder for the death of Antonio Swink. Calhoun County deputies were called to a home on Smith Street early Sunday morning. When deputies arrived, they found Swink suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was taken to RMC where he later died. Calhoun County Sheriff Matthew Wade calls this a pointless murder. It took Sheriff Wade and his deputies just 15 hours to arrest all three suspects. No court dates or bond amounts have been set.
