Two Arrested on Various Charges Related to Burglaries

Cherokee County has two people in custody with connection to several burglaries. Amanda Link and Kristhopher Jackson were found inside a makeshift tent after deputies received a call of someone living in a car on the property of a hunting club. Link was arrested on an active warrant for Fraudulent Use of a Credit/ Debit Card. Jackson attempted to get away but was quickly detained. He was charged with attempting to elude, resisting arrest, obstruction of justice and giving a false name to authorities. The car was impounded and items inside were identified as stolen.
