Local Foundation Announces New Members


The Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama Board of Trustees is announcing two new members. Carver Boynton joins the Foundation as a representative of Etowah County. She will serve on the Grants and the Scholarship Committees. Jack Swift rejoins the Foundation as a representative from Calhoun County. He will serve as board vice chair and on the Governance and the Nominating Committees. The Foundation trustees are charged with the fiduciary responsibility of investing, managing, distributing and evaluating assets from more than 160 charitable funds totaling nearly 40- million dollars. The Foundation serves a nine county area.
